Hey just want to say a big thanks to everyone who sent me off at the airport that evening… it was really nice of u guys to send me off… yup and I’m really touched and glad that you did… =) thanks again!

Oh yesh, I’ve finally arrived in München safely and settled into my hostel room with much ease, though what i really lack is a pillow and a blanket... haha =D anyhow am thankful that they provide internet access here in their hostel room! haha believe it... internet in my room... wow! Yup other than that been spending all my time here settling down... doing my administrative stuff and all...

I had the chance to walk in the streets of München and it was really wonderful... the streets was bursting with so many people... people chilling out in cafes, shopping or simply just enjoying the afternoon and walking around. But what really amazed me were the buildings in the city centre... there were so many interesting corners within the city, you will never know what you'll expect as u make a turn into a street... Perhaps some huge statue, even times a majestic building, or even a fountain surrounded by cafes filled with people. =D

Yup anyway i shall post some of my photos that i took while in Zürich... if u didn't know, my flight in Singapore landed in Zürich first and i spent an afternoon there in the city before proceeding onto München.

Zürich was pretty much like Singapore... in a sense… they are famous for their economic activity like banking… speaking of which I think I saw more Porsches in Zürich than in a single lifetime. Altogether I must have seen at least 9 Porsches in a single afternoon! Gosh! Oh and Yiting (the other girl studying in Konstanz) and I bummed into another Singaporean lady. Apparently she’s been working for a year somewhere off the coast of France by herself and happened to be in Zürich. Haha first thing she asked when she saw us was “hey are you Singaporeans?” But am really glad that we met, though it was only afew hours since we left home, the thought of meeting someone from home in a land filled with Europeans sure was comforting… yup so we spend the afternoon walking along the Zürich lake. It was indeed lovely…
