Guess you must be thinking what has happened to me... haha thankfully i survived the design submission and the presentation (actually like always... u feel like its the end of the world with the extreme workload, but somehow someway you'll find a way to survive. weird...) Surprisingly, the Professor kinda liked our design (if u didn't know we work in groups of 2 for our design studio) and he helped us alot during the presentation. In fact i felt like he was promoting our design half the time i stood there to present. haha okay before u start thinking why is the professor so strange, liking the design and yet having to promote it to himself, i should clarify that there were a couple of invited guests, 2 architects from Alaska and 2 more guests that worked in Antarctic. the design brief was a 'semi-realistic' project, because Alaska is really looking to construct a design school, thus the appearance of these 2 architects. Yup so the presentation was targeted to them. it was a really interesting and light hearted session just talking about the design and concept (of course with so much help from the professor himself!)
So that was it for the many days of tough work, emotional and unending late nights... ha it felt really wonderful to have cleared one huge barrier! =D to end off the event, we had a grill party in the courtyard of the university and stayed till really late...
whats next? Well i still have 2 more major papers to go *sigh* and after that i shall make a trip around eastern europe… i’m so looking forward to that! As for now, i should catch up on my sleep debt!
